Is this retreat connected to David & Nancy Guthrie’s Respite Retreat?

Yes. We attended Respite Retreat Nashville in 2012 and have stayed in close touch with the Guthries since then. Having hosted over 40 Respite Retreats since 2009, they have worked with us to launch Respite Retreat at the River and continue as a resource to us. The Guthries hosted their last Respite Retreat Nashville in 2022 but continue to be a source of encouragement and wisdom for us as we continue to lead Respite Retreat at the River. 

The schedule for Respite Retreat at the River will be similar to Respite Retreat Nashville. We'll bring our unique personalities and experience to leading the retreat, but it will have the same basic content, focus, and commitment to Christ as the only source for help and hope.
