On March 21, 2011 Deacon died in a sudden tragic accident when he was struck by a car. Through grace and perseverance, along with a lot of help, Gabe and Monica have seen a horrible nightmare slowly metamorphose into a journey filled with hope.
Deacon's life and death are still a part of their family's story. One of Gabe and Monica’s greatest desires is to share the hope that they have with other bereaved parents.
